That last couple days at the churches infirmary have been quite amusing depending on who you ask. A few days ago Lanya was asked to tend to
this adventurer who had managed to limp his way into town with quite the nasty wound on his leg. From what little that the wounded Dragonborn
Vythur was willing to share, Lanya was able to determine that he was attached by one of the larger and unfriendlier wildlife while on his way back
from studying a nearby ruin, a catacomb of some sort that was known for drawing the attention of many treasure seekers and scholars alike.
It was great luck on his part that he managed to find his way to the town that Lanya was residing in at the time. The young Shurian cleric was
volunteering at the churches infirmary to earn both coin and good will. Any other town in a different direction and Vythur would of had just mere
vendors and craftsmen with no medical knowledge to try and tend to him.
However despite Lanya's great bedside manner of trying to converse with Vythur, he remained rather stubborn to speak very much. Apparently feeling
quite jaded at the situation he had found himself in, needing to be tended to by another like some wounded animal despite how true that was at the
moment. After a few days though Lanya's charm and hospitable care did win her some favor with the stoic dragonborn. Eventually he began to talk
with her of his own volition, telling her of the studying he was doing. Perhaps he was just bored and wanting to share. Or perhaps he was curious to
see if this lovely looking cleric had more to her than just looks and a healing hand.
Of course though as is typical with males, Vythur couldn't deny that Lanya was a fetching creature in this town and on top of that a fellow whiteling.
Albino's like the two of them were quite rare. But perhaps what really garnered his attention was the amulet of Tiamat that she wore around her neck.
It peaked his curiosity intenstely as many people viewed Tiamat as a purely evil god. But with some probing he asked Lanya what her views were about
the ill spoken of God. To which the answer he received filled him with quite the unexpected appreciation for his current bedside attendee.

In this storyline Lanya's beliefs of Tiamat is that they are an essential part of a balanced scale in the world. Where Bahamut is often revered for the goodness in the world, Tiamat is viewed by many as responsible for the evil. Lanya believes that Tiamat is necessary, just as much as Bahamut if not more to help moderate the evil in the world. She thinks that Tiamat is responsible for her birth and that they wish for her to help with that moderation and to spread the belief that Tiamat is not as much a beacon of evil as they are but a necessary companion to Bahamut to help keep the world in balance.
<3 tis a great scene, I love how good
darznwolfe did in making it. Really captured a good moment between them of Lanya trying to win Vythur's stubbornness over with her bedside manner

Fun true story about that arrow to the knee thing.
I went to an Anime convention cosplaying as a dark brotherhood assassin. A lady came up to me and said “I used to be an adventurer like you, till I took an arrow to the knee.”
At the time I didn’t get the arrow to the knee joke nor did I know it had gotten that famous. So my response was as followed.
“I’m wearing knee pads.”
After all my cosplay costume had knee pads on.
That got a good laugh from her. Fun times.
