Beau Stevens (Center) was born and raised on the large apple orchard he now still calls home. A widower, Beau adopted Jesse (left) and Bruce (right) as mere infants after learning that his wife Clarissa was infertile and unable to carry children of her own. When the two brothers were teenagers, Clarissa passed after a long bout with the great big "C" word, leaving her husband to now finish raising the two brothers as a widower on top of running an apple orchard and driving semi-trucks in order to help sustain the farm.
Jesse (left) married his high school sweetheart when he was 21 (shortly after losing part of his pinky finger in a cider press accident), and has for the most part taken over for his ageing father in running the orchard and pumpkin patch with two kids of his own in tow.
Bruce (right), a biologically-wired perfectionist, is the younger brother to Jesse by 2 years and as opposed to settling down on the farm, opted for a more technically-driven career, leading him to start university for Civil Engineering at the age of 19 and graduating to becoming a construction materials inspector for the local city government clear up until he meets and eventually marries Rex Parson before climbing up the ladder to become a project manager.
In the photo above, Jesse is staring down the barrel of the age of the big 4-0, with Bruce not too far behind his older brother at the tender age of 38, with Beau settling down into his golden years at the age of 60.
