I've been thinking about this setting of mine for like, fuckin aaaaaages, which is the mall that Stij works/lives in, and is just chock full of stores that sell or provide transformative services/inconveniences. And like, normal stuff too but that's not really my focus.

This in particular was just supposed to be me wanting to introduce the mall from the point of view of a new permanent resident of it, as opposed to the kind of person that stumbles in, gets tf'd, and stumbles back out to never see it again. The writing kind of got away from me a bit but I'm happy with what I ended up with!

Was sort of supposed to be a piece of transformation fiction, and that does finally happen near the end but y'know. It's not the time until then! No matter what any robot thinks!
