Been working at expanding my photography skills a lot recently. Did an experiment to test the viability of my 100mm macro as a walk around lens. While it can focus to infinity, the quality just isn't there like it is with it's native macro angle. Was good practice at taking shots quickly in manual mode though.

Also, news, news...I have a new place to work in. So, it's pretty much the same deal, except now I have a lot more responsibility and a group of people I have to keep an eye on.

Plus, I've gotten a few small jobs as a photographer. Not for the wealthy people, no. This was for a few friends who wanted either model photographs or prom photos. And they were more fun. That, and a new fursuit.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I have a potential model shoot on the horizon with a friend myself. Not sure how that's going to work out just yet seeing as I don't own any studio equipment and it's hard to do a nude shoot outdoors in privacy. Lol. We'll see.

A new suit eh? What did you get? Also, if you plan on coming up to RF and bring them, I'll be doing a studio shoot again this year. It's in the works to be bigger and even more awesome too.

Yeah, I'm doing things to try and make the shop work out well.

Nude photography in public, eh? Too bad they're trying to close down this one nude beach down here in San Diego. Otherwise, I'd invite y'all for the weekend, just to give to give it a try and see how it works.

Ebay. A Mixed Candy creation, it was auctioned of by who I believe to be the original person who commissioned it. Tried it on, it fits well enough, but I'm now making efforts to make it fit just a little better, which shouldn't be too difficult considering all the changes I've made in my personal life to try and make that happen. Plus, I'm going to have to figure out a way to keep everyone honest that weekend when I'm going up to RF this year. Last year was a blast and everything.

The only nude beach I'm aware of around here is up in Canada around Victoria/Vancouver or something. That would be an interesting border crossing.

Mixed Candy does some good work. And it's nice to hear about someone who seems to understand that diets don't work, changing your daily habits does. I wish you success with it. :)

At this point, I'm pretty much giving up on all the bad food around me, since diabetes is kind of a common medical condition in my family. That, and trying to get back to the gym regularly. Which, given that I'm now the owner of a full fursuit, pretty much means that I now have more reason to take better care of myself.

Pretty funny how spending that money money on something like that can be the proper motivation to get me to improve my health.

Everyone has that motivation they have to find to do what they need to take care of themselves. Sounds like you found yours. I'm sure running around in full suit is a good way to work off some extra weight too. I hear they get rather warm. Lol.

So what conditions caused the leaves to shine with that silvery light? That's really cool!

That's the sunlight coming from the right with the shadows in the background being the clouds and sky. In post process editing I drained all colors but reds and blues and turned the exposure down one stop so the sunlight reflecting off the leaves would turn silvery. I didn't like the original photo but it had potential so I decided to try and make something artsy out of it.
