Phosphate Facility Side
So, I went Urban Exploring last Saturday for the first (REAL) time, and it was pretty great. :3 All of these pics were taken in eastern Florida, in and around the Brandon, Florida, area. It's somewhat near to Bartow.
A side of the phosphate structure, showing the serious construction technique used to build it--solid concrete with rebar inside, reinforced with solid steel supports and huge steel braces at the corners. This building isn't going anywhere anytime soon. (that is, unless the county decides to forcefully remove it) Nature is slowly beginning to reclaim the area with ivy everywhere.
