It's official, #3 is due to be under her own power next month!
"Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic locomotive. #3 will be that engine. We can make it better than it was before. Better, stronger, faster."
Sorry, I felt that rather fit well from the old show The Six Million Dollar Man, since to bring #3 back cost 1.5 million. A COMPLETELY new boiler, extensively rebuild frame, side gear, tender. All new boiler lagging, jacketing, bearings, crossheads and brasses. Short of rolling out a whole new locomotive (Such as Britain's 'Tornado') she's about a new as you're going to make a Rogers locomotive.

I would be surprised if you've not seen this engine either on television or in movies. It's one of the most filmed locomotives around.

Yep, 4-6-0 with blind centre drivers.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2674255/ shows the frame sans boiler from several years ago, you can see her blind centre driver (Flange-less).

She's a lovely tank steam engine. How often is she operated?
Near as I can tell she's a Henschel & Sohn made engine. Today it is a Bombardier company.
