after a long winter and having been snowed in for quite some time, pongo was restless and definitely ready for a nice walk through the park. but life stuck indoors had taken its toll on the heavy pooch’s body, more specifically his humongous belly.
with nothing left to do while waiting for enough of the snow to melt, he spent his days gorging on everything at home. the massive intake of calorie-rich foods and lack of physical exercise had allowed pongo to swell considerably fast, so much so that he hadn’t really noticed how low his jiggly gut began to hang.
obviously he felt softer and had a harder time going up and down stairs, but being obese didn’t cross his mind — until he caught a glimpse of his doughy middle in the mirror one evening.
needless to say, he was even more desperate to go for a walk now.
