A painting I did for Further Confusion 2007, where the theme was 007..

I've always liked female-fitted tuxes ^.^

Done in inks, watercolors and acrylic paints on illustration board.

Shiny. The colors came out very well, especially with the tux on the vix. Curious, did you use a particular pistol as a model?

I found a photo on Google of a girl pointing a gun towards the camera - I'm not sure what model it was...

Unfortunately, most of the specific gun references I have show the gun only from the side, and I don't own a firearm for more specific referencing... =(

Looks like the original picture could have been a Beretta Model 92. If you run into a similar dilemma, I'm sure there are several gun-owning furs who would be more than happy to supply photos of appropriate firearms from the needed angle. (I should know, I'm one of them)

I love how it looks like a slide from an action shot where she has just slid into view! And the perspective/forshortening and front on angle of the gun is fantastic.
