I've done a bit of cosplay at various anime conventions in my area over the last few years. This is the only costume that I have pictures of, though.
I used to watch Digimon all the time when I was younger. I never really thought about making a costume like this, or considered it all that possible until I saw the epic Guilmon costume made by GuardianSandi a few years ago, over on DeviantArt.
I made the first version of this costume two years ago, then put in a decent amount of work improving it last winter. I removed a bit of the extra padding from the belly, redid many of the straps that help hold everything together, and completely remade the head with better proportions and an articulated jaw.
That was an interesting challenge. Overall, this costume was a lot of fun to make and wear around at the con.

Thank you. :D
I didn't use fleece.
The main body were made out of a red sweater and some sweat pants that were the right color. Plenty of alterations were made, but using those as a base saved me a lot of time.
I used a thinner material when covering the foam pieces, like the claws and tail.

The jaw works decently well. I can control it via a chin strap. It can open a little more than what is shown in the top right picture, but not much more.
If I can figure out a better mechanism for it, I could improve the range of motion. The actual thing that controls the jaw is a separate piece from the foam in the head, so I can remove it if necessary.
And, yes. The tail is just foam, with a fabric covering. The black bands are elastic bands that I added on after the other details. :)

How could I have forgot to reply to this? Gah.
Better late than never.
I went through my detour pictures and found that I got one of you, so I'm sure I said hello when I wasn't in this costume. It was somewhat difficult to move about the con in it, so I tended to change back into normal clothes when going to the game room, or dealer room. It was a fun con.
I'll be there next year, but I'll probably make another costume before that rolls around. This one will return at other cons, and maybe future years at Detour.

I know of http://the-emerald-otter.deviantart.....lmon-163278577 and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7076060/ at least...
As far as I know, no one has uploaded any videos, though.
I'm glad you enjoy it. :)

I don't have too many more, but it looks like there are a few photos that people have taken at cons.

I think there are probably some on DeviantArt, as well.

This is AWSOME! My first comment on this site goes to you for such a amazing costume of Guildmon. All that's left is for you to have a Rena Tail sticking out of your maw or regularly eating bread as you explore the cons! anyways thank you for show this to the community and creating it. your Costume is just so great.... ( also since its my 1st post i'm sorry if this is a reply and not a comment. )
