This is a Box chain weave. It took my about an hour to make on my first attempt but the last 5 boxes (20 rings) took just 10 minutes. I got faster and faster the more I did once I got into a rythym. This is one of the faster weaves you can make as you can 'speedweave' it.
I will open for commissions sometime soon for collars, bracelets and eventually other small items as well once my range of weaves has expanded and my skill at opening and closing rings has improved more.

Speedweaving is basically where when you add a ring to the chain, you add more than one ring at a time. So with Box Chain, you actually add 3 rings in one go (two closed rings in an open ring, then 1 ring, then 3 rings, then 1 ring, over and over.
The above box chain took 60 rings for the length and size you see. But some weaves for the same length can use so many rings, it can be silly, up to 150-200 for the same length. On top of that, some have to be done one ring at a time and take ages.
