Love the concept, setting and colours in this!

Friend of mine had six barn owls in his, well, barn. Up in the hayloft. We spied on them carefully lifting a camera up to see what they were up to.

They were not impressed. Barn owls are simply hate with wings. But I love them dearly.

I’ve never seen a wild one I envy you!

I had not liked them, but then I saw them in the real world. They WORK. As an engineering design, they WORK. And around sunset you see this dark shape loft out of the barn and vanish into the night.

You see. You hear nothing.

They are impressive killing machines. Any farmer I know would love to have them on the farm. Anything they pick off is something the farmer didn't want around anyway.
