I haven't seen the movie yet (going to see it with my girl and refuse to see it before that) but what I've seen, it's a nice take on the story. It does help the original creator of the PoP series has been involved to create the script I think.
The game series holds a very warm spot in my heart.

It wasn't until very recently I got her interested in the series by getting PoP 2008 so we have two different starts of the series, I prefer the original Trilogy Prince and she prefers the 2008 one, it's quite amusing.
The movie ... well I don't have high hopes, but I do think it will be an enjoyable story with good action scenes.

I need to break out my original PoP games and replay them before I see the movie, just so I can compare after I see it. If anything, the movie will be entertaining with the action and what not. At least with our movie technology as it is it can uphold to the fantasy of the game with real actors.
