Just another WWII photo I found that I wanted to sketch.-
One of the SS Fallschirmjäger who accompanied Otto Skorzeny on his daring raid to rescue Mussolini from the mountaintop Gran Sasso Hotel in which he had been imprisoned. He carries an FG 42 while behind lies a DFS 230 glider.
