Often grouchy and fond of biting, the diminutive Svart is a handful at the best of times. He is a Hazard Tribal and is one of a small group who the higher powers in Mundalindia are working with to improve Hazard-lowland relations. He, like many Hazards, does not care for other Landingites, preferring his own Tribe. Still, he has done his part in assisting the process. Svart is unique among Hazards in one practice. Every year, in the summer, he disappears into the Pesker Range for three weeks. He will then abruptly reappear and behave as if he had never left Tough Spot. His fellow Landingites have yet to figure out what he’s doing, but it's been rumored he takes interpretive dance classes.
