Listening to the young master sniffle, and fidget, she sighed, and gently moved behind him, giving him a soft hug, her fingers petting along his arm. ".. It's alright hun, go ahead...you'll feel better..."
She watched him slowly place his thumb between his lips, and sniffle again, her head tilting into him a bit as she did nothing but cling to him gently, letting him sort out all his worries through his tears, and by suckling his thumb.
I was surprised with this today.
Luring has a habit, that he's afraid people will judge him for. I say, forget it, and do what you need to do to make yourself feel better, comforted... safe.
So here, he asked Neko, to draw himself, suckling his thumb, with me comforting him.
So now, I'm curious, what habit do you do, to make yourself feel better? Suck your thumb? Snuggle a plushie? Snuggle your loved one? *smile*

Very cute picture... and I'm glad you could comfort him a bit.
As for me, when I'm really down I tend to curl up on my bed with a few plushies, sniffling and eventuelly dozing away a bit. And sometimes waking up softly chewing the ear of the plushie
(and a rather confuzzled looking plushie with a slobbered on ear ^^'' )
