*Coughs* On to technical terms. The rule of thirds is shown very clearly here (in a sense), which I love, and of course, there's the great bit of clarity. :D The blurs that exist are artfully placed, showing a sense of motion. You captured the take-off near perfectly.

However, there are key distracting points-- albeit ones you couldn't help. That ladderlike stump thing keeps drawing my eye out of the anonymity, and the shoulder of the wing instead of the eye and head, which is in shadow, marring this otherwise wondrous picture. <3
