The shark down in the ocean, all it's ever known,
Is not friends or fam'ly, for they swim alone.
They cannot feel the bracing wind, the sun so soft and warm,
Only currents and the waves of every passing storm.
But the shark lives under water, so its tears cannot be seen,
Its sadness is not measured, it is taken to be mean.
The misery of their lives fills all the briny vault,
They've cried the world the sea, and that's why it's full of salt.

Oh maaaaaan, this piece... it speaks to me in so many relatable volumes. I really dig your OC and seeing him crying in rainfall completely reinforces my willingness to give him a very big, gracious hug. Poor fella... emptiness doesn't have to necessarily feel devoid of all things kind and considerate, even if that's hardly the case in most situations. This is so beautifully conveyed and looks quite amazing!
This masterpiece dear, i love it over any limit!!
