The streets were dark, but it was darker still out near the construction site. The machines were silent and loomed in the shadows, the workers having all gone home to enjoy a well earned weekend relaxing. But that didn't mean the site was empty.

Places like that could make for good venues for secret shows. They're sometimes out of the way, any neighbors being used to noises and not as likely to call the authorities, and ample power around for speakers and amps. Kyrie loved it too, cause there was always the threat of a raid in the middle of the show, keeping her blood pumping as much as the bands were.

Natalie, though, was beyond unsure about being here. She didn't know WHY Kyrie was able to convince her to come with her all the time. She didn't want to go at all. She's not into punk music, she never liked crowds, and the idea of maybe getting arrested scared the life out of her.

But, here she was, her cousin tugging at her sleeve, her steel grip insuring the smaller hyena couldn't turn tail and run, talking a mile a minute about "how fun this was gonna be" and "how it'd do her some good to get away from her books". Natalie wasn't sure of that either, but, here she was...
