06/29 Update: Pronoun indicators added to the refsheet!

After several years of having many OCs I have finally tackled the long, arduous task of creating actual reference sheets for them. Some of my OCs stayed pretty much the same, some have minor adjustments, some have major rehauls of them!

These reference sheets took a VERY long time to do since each one had so many things to consider when adding them. it may have taken me a while but since I've been meaning to actually make them for quite a while now, it's good that I finally got that off my shoulders. u//u (And before anyone asks, I don't plan on taking commissions for reference sheets like these any time soon, sorry to disappoint! ^^;;)


The next one on the list is probably my biggest overhaul of an OC yet - my sea-faring boy Alek. I've honestly been meaning to retcon parts of him for a long time now but have always hesitated, since, well, change is scary sometimes yaknow? But now I've finally decided to jump ahead and go with it. The following has been changed or updated for him-

- He is now a sea monster, but without the dragon association. A kaiju of sorts.
- Design-wise, Alek no longer sports a tail in this human form. I have also done some minor changes to his eyes (giving him teal schlera) and changed his mouth details (removing the uvula mostly)
- Outfit-wise, I have given him a new leather jacket, but still kept the color scheme.

The biggest change however will be that his anthro form, which I have used for AUs, will effectively be retired until I can figure out what to do with him. I know this might be a little disappointing for some since I know some of you liked him, but since I really was unsure on what direction to use for this OC I thought this would be a first step forward in actually using him for stuff. That being said, the change from dragon to kaiju is something I really wanted to do, so it's a start, and I hope y'all will be cool with this retconning! ^^;;

Age: Unknown (Appears 18-19 in human years)
Height: 172cm / 5’7”

Personality: Alek more often than not a perpetual introverted grump, preferring to be left to his own devices and avoiding large crowds and gatherings. He has a temper and can easily get irritated, but feels more at peace when he is in the water. He also holds strong survivalist convictions.

Basic Lore: Alek comes from a long line of sea monsters who used to ravage seas and terrorize both sailors and coastal villages alike. However, as centuries pass, his kind began to dwindle in numbers, and the seas they once called home began to become more polluted and overrun with human activity.

In a last ditch effort to survive in a changing world, Alek’s generation learned to adapt to living live on both land where humans dwelled, and in the sea. His true potential to be a ruthless sea beast who can stir the oceans is still untapped…

Trivia:
- Voice Claim: Bryce Pappenbrook
- Has a fear of thunderstorms, although he tries to hide it. The lightning bolts put him on edge
- His favourite foods are any kind of fish, preferably raw. He dislikes sweets.
- He takes offence in being referred to as a shark or fish-person.
- While he doesn’t let people know, he has a small collection of sea shells and other such objects stashed somewhere.
- He doesn't like physical contact, ESPECIALLY from strangers. Putting your hand near his face or neck will make him very standoffish.
