Inspire #33: Fully scaled Insignium
Decided to practice Siggy a little more and showcase some of the process on stream. Apologies for the stream notification spam! Here's the end result anyhow.

Wow Rim, this image is very awesome!! You know how much I love seeing the big red durg and seeing him in this more detailed state makes it even better! I really love how well the scales came out!! The shading is gorgeous as well! I can tell it must have been very painstaking, but the results are impressive! Really gives the big guy an even more tanky, bulky look! From the scales to his scutes, it all came out really well! I love the simple gradient background too! Kinda looks like he's walking away from a city he stumbled upon for food or something lol XD
I can always tell you enjoy drawing him as it really shows in the end results of the images that you draw of him! And I can definitely agree. I would imagine drawing a character where every scale had to be drawn would be very rough for many artists to do. Having the option to remove or make them "smooth" looking adds to the flexibility of them. But yeah, really awesome job on this!
He's definitely got the spikes that would make any porcupine proud!
I don't mind the streaming experience. It's a nice way to interact with my watchers or peers at a casual level while I work on some art. Not something I see myself doing too often though since I don't think I really offer much in terms of entertainment value, heh. But I think it's something I might do every fortnightly or monthly just for the whole "interaction" aspect of it.
