Hi everyone! We are already on December which means that Hearth's Warming Eve, that amazing celebration that excites us every year and which remind us the importance of friendships, of being together and also to always have a warm blanket ready for cold nights.

As every year, I wanted to do a special drawing for this occasion. I really was wishing to draw something in a dark night, close to the fireplace, because I find that landscape really comfortable, a really peaceful place in which I would love to stay the whole time and which brings to my mind the most important feelings for me related to those holidays. I simply couldn't select any other two characters than Twilight and Spike, and then making this scene where both fall asleep late at night next to the fireplace wearing fluffy diapers came to my mind. For me, it is pretty hard to think in something warmer, kinder, more adorable and more relaxing and peaceful than this.

For this drawing I put a lot of effort in the details, in the decoration, in the background, in the diapers, and especially in the fire and its light effects. I know, my fire is not perfect at all. I'm still a true rookie in those kinds of stuff, but I do my best to improve. I worked a lot trying to make different light and shadow effects (even if they are only made with gradients) and I hope that you can appreciate that. I really loved the final result and how warm and relaxing it looks and I hope you think in the same way than me.

The best part of the drawing is, of course, that no matter if they suddenly fell sleep or how many cocoa cups Spike drank, diapers are there :3
