I haven't had the chance to watch it myself, but from what I've heard and seen, it's like, literally exactly the old shows quality in every way except animation(which is not bad either, just different), and everyone who is complaining about how it has gotten bad is either willfully ignoring how the original actually was or just really doesn't like the new art style.
