Not a furry, but I'm very proud of the piece, so...
This was going to be a watercolor piece, with Micron line work.
But...I tried something new for the background, and the background color seeped thru the liquid frisket and into the figure area. There was no way to cover that with watercolors!
Acrylic it had to be. (even then, the color still seeped thru the first layer...!)
But, I decided to eliminate the ink work, and go a bit more realistic with the acrylic, to see if I could do it.
I am very happy with the result, even if it did take me days longer than it was supposed to!
9x12" on Arches watercolor block. Watercolors and acrylic paints.
