It had been years since the two of them had seen each other, years since they had spoken. Now Raven nervously approached the meeting point with her now almost fully grown cub. A cub she had not spoken of to her younger sister.
No she was not ashamed of her cub, she had simply been too busy loving life and forgot to mention her daughter.
But as her sisters sea green eyes stared at her approaching form with a confused frown upon her lips the nervousness in the pit of her stomach grew deeper.
She gave a sheepish fanged smile and paused, her daughter oblivious to the situation, nearly running into the back end of her mother.
"Hey there sis..."
She greeted the other feline who blinked in response.
"So....how has life been?"
Still nothing as those blank orbs that revealed nothing traveled to her daughter behind her.
"She yours?"
She questioned in an emotionless tone.
Great so it was going to be like this. Could Ivy really not forgive her for leaving to live her own life. She heaved a heavy sigh as she nodded her head. She looked over toward her daughter who was unsure still of the tension between the two sisters. She motioned her forward.
"Meet your niece, Karma."
Karma tentatively walked forward and stopped in front of the feline who was slightly larger than her mother. She stared up at her and cooked her head to the side as she studied her aunt.
Ivy looked down at the cub, as if passing judgment on the cub. Suddenly a smile broke across her face and she reached out a paw and tapped her on the nose.
"Your it!"
She told her, seeming to be a whole other feline as she playfully ran toward the sea.
The nervousness faded as she watched the two play. Finally the tension was gone and the three enjoyed a much needed time of play.
