"Here is Telzok Xarenu with his pet nyrrath (the smallest dragon-like species on the planet Verratha), lovingly showing affection to his owner. His name is Nektzokkor. He follows his owner all over Xarenu Palace grounds (Telzok is the nephew of the Emperor, Sorrek Xarenu, the leader of the Verrthraaxi Empire). This little blue dragon was responsible for Telzok meeting who would later become his wife, Kezla. The little little blue terror escaped the palace grounds causing his owner to go looking for him. Telzok found him snuggling up with someone on a bench in a nearby park, a purple scaled female Verrathan, named Kezla. She asked him if this was his pet and he said yes. He thanked her for finding him and asked her if she wanted to have dinner with him. She said that she would love to have dinner. What Kezla didn't realize at the time than her date was royalty. But she figured that out when he gave her his address. When Kezla walked up the stairs to the main gate (only members of the Xarenu Clan are allowed to enter the palace by any other entrance, including the ones only accessed by flying), she was scared to death that she made a mistake. But the Gatekeeper told her that she was expected at the roasting pits inside the main courtyard. When she got there she saw Telzok, who was preparing some roast some meat on the spit. Nektzokkor was watching him work. Telzok started the fire with his own breath (an ancient Verrathan tradition). Kezla laughed as she saw the little blue dragon was adding his own flames to the fire. She still couldn't believe that this little guy was allowed her to meet one of the Emperor's heirs (Telzok's father was the son of the previous Emperor, before Sorrek, which would make Telzok the Emperor if something would to happen to both Sorrek and his father). Telzok swears that the little blue guy new what he was doing when he escaped, the little nyrrath are more intelligent than many realize.

(Note that Verrathans dress in rather skimpy clothing, mostly because long clothes have too much wind resistance and would hinder their flying. Also Verrathans are not ashamed to show off something as natural as their own bodies, and it is very common for many people to wear no shirt at all, even the females. Having wings coming out of your back would make shirts with collars impossible to wear so most shirts have most of the chest and back exposed or have no neck at all)."
