Xochak and Telzok
When Telzok was 5 years old (3 in Verrathan years) his father, Xochak had taken him on his first trip in space. He was both terrified and excited at the same time. He would climb up his father's back, grab his horns and bury his snout into his father's head feathers. It can be a shock for one who's that young to go into space... one who barely even knows their own world to see other worlds! But Telzok remembers the trip fondly 47 years later. He is currently 52 years old, which is about comparable to a 20-some years old human. Verrathans don't reach middle age until around 225 years. His father looks pretty much the same as he did in the picture (115 years old currently, 68 in the picture). When Telzok grew up it became hard to tell them apart. This is why piercings of all kinds are very popular in Verrathan culture
