Scratch Skincutter. A vicious name for an unusually vicious clanrat. He stands out from most of his craven brethren with his extreme taste and sadistic pleasure of skinning his fellow Skaven, dead or alive, and wearing their bloodied and flayed hides as armor, hence the name of 'Skincutter'. At one point in time, he even threatened Hir'eka that he would one day wear her bloody hide as a cloak, so that all would know his name and fear him, but such boastful tones and threats were said in the presence of his old chieftain master, whose name is forever lost in time. Why is the name not remembered, you might ask? Well, because Hir'eka killed the chieftain in a one-on-one gladiator match, and rarely does Hir'eka, or any Skaven, truly remember or care if someone of their kind dies. Witnessing his master get decapitated by Hir'eka in the ring, Scratch Skincutter began to panic, all of his bravery and stout attitude sucked out of him in an instant. After the fight, he threw himself at Hir'eka's feet, begging for his life to be spared, and that his threats were just 'jokes'. Typical Skaven bravery. He would plead desperately to not be slain between sob-filled breaths. Hir'eka could've easily split the clanrat into twain with her halberd, but she decided to let Scratch live, so long as he served her instead now. Ever grateful for Hir'eka's mercy, Scratch Skincutter now fights and serves Hir'eka. Despite his craven behavior and sobbing pleas of mercy beforehand, Scratch nevertheless proves himself to be useful, as far as clanrats go. Well, so long as his 'verminous valor' doesn't kick in.
