Next up, again from  alfafilly , is the refrence for my very first OC: the Countess of Demosac, Marciannah! She's been around for a long time, and has had many faces over the years, but here's her most recent incarnation, along with her daughter! I love them both.

Name and Title: Countess Marciannah Haàlo Rahchesàn (Marr-see-ahh-nah Hay-ahh-low Raw-kay-sawn)

Story: Several, but showcases in The Countess of Demosac

Age: 44 (approximately the same as a human)

Sex: Female

Species: Warnonian (Anthropomorphic alien race)

Height: 5’ 9” (175 cm)

Weight: 160 lbs (72.6 kg)

Abilities/Skills/Strengths:
-Somewhat quick and agile
-Expert in swordplay
-Cybernetic right arm (see below)
-Good upper body strength

Weaknesses:
-Fragile bones
-Poor endurance
-Contact point at the cybernetics of the right arm is excessively painful when struck
-Prone to panic attacks

Personality Strengths: Marciannah is optimistic; the kind to always see even a bit of good come from a situation, no matter how dire. She is incredibly faithful to her loved ones and Cassi (God) and is usually lighthearted and good humored. Finally, she has a very strong determination to see things through to the end.

Personality Weaknesses: However, she is also proud to a fault, vain, and petty. In addition, she is sometimes callous and spiteful. Marci has a tendency to hold grudges forever and be unreasonably stubborn. Her mood can also wildly swing from time to time; when Marciannah is angered, she has been known to break things and throw full tantrums in her rage.

Likes: Listening to calming music, being with her friends and family, fencing, playing games with her daughter.

Dislikes: Losing her temper, looking at her arm, Maelstronians, wearing girlish clothing.

Other:
-She is left-handed and cracks her neck and knuckles obsessively.
-As a diplomat, she speaks Maelstronian, but her speech is only passable with a thick accent which sounds like a cross between Arabic and Spanish.
-Only her center tail is real. The left and right ones are made of tendons, cartilage, and some flesh and fur; there is no spine in them except for the center one. The remaining two can be cut or torn off with some pain and blood if necessary.
-Although she is called a "Countess," her official title is a Chancellor. However, Marciannah refused that title due to her bile against the previous ruler (Chancellor Jenairo Vicapae).
-Because of numerous events in her life (including losing her arm, being taken away from her family into a government-run boarding home, and heading a rebellion against the previous ruler), she has post-traumatic stress disorder that manifests itself in the form of night terrors and certain anxiety "triggers" such as hearing about child abuse or sudden, loud noises.

About Marciannah's Arm:
-Her right arm is an aluminum alloy cybernetic prosthesis from the elbow down due to events in The Countess of Demosac. Lesson learned: don't sucker punch a corrupt Chancellor.
-Before implanting the cybernetics, she had a typical claw-like prosthesis made of plastic and steel. After losing her original arm, it took her several years to fully adapt to it, and several more years to adapt to the cybernetics.
-This arm is hard-wired to the nerves and bone in the rest of her arm and although it can be detached below the elbow joint, it takes special tools, time, and a skilled enough person to not cause nerve damage in the process. Thus, Marci doesn't take it off unless it requires emergency repair or it entirely runs out of power.
-She is repulsed by its design to the point that is always covered by a black, waterproof leather glove, no exceptions.
-The electric motors that move the fingers and joints rely on a rechargeable battery that requires that her arm be plugged into a power source once every three Demosacan months (or approximately two Earth months) for three hours. During this time, unless the source of the charge is portable (such as a power bank), Marciannah will essentially be tethered to an outlet.
-Although superfluous due to the leather glove covering them, there are rubber pads on the fingers and palm of this arm to provide grip. Her natural hand has no pads.

About Archné:
Name and Title: Lady Archné Cassi Rahchesàn (Ark-nay Caw-see Raw-kay-sawn)

Story: The Countess of Demosac

Age: 6 (approximately the same as a human)

Sex: Female

Species: Warnonian/Vusician/Markanican (tri-racial alien)

Height: 3' 6" (106.7 cm)

Weight: 28 lbs (12.7 kg)

Personality Strengths: Although she appears stoic or constantly nervous at first glance, Archné is actually a very happy, carefree, and curious child. She is very clingy in an emotional sense, but doesn't like being touched (save the occasional hug from Marciannah). She sometimes says tactless and socially unaware things without realizing how rude she can actually be, but is quick to apologize once she knows. She is mostly quiet and well-mannered, but will immediately start asking questions if something doesn't make sense to her.

Personality Weaknesses: However, she can become very frustrated over small things, can get destructively angry as a result, and can have trouble communicating why. As mentioned, she can be very unintentionally rude sometimes, even if she will immediately apologize once she realizes this. And much like most other six-year-olds and her mother, she can be unreasonably stubborn when she believes she's right.

Other:
-Aside from her Asperger Syndrome-like disability (see below), Archné has a variety of health problems as a result of being comprised of three different species. These include:
*Complete sterility.
*Heart palpitations.
*Inability to digest grains.
*Her tail is constantly dragging and unkempt.
-In addition, Archné was technically born premature by the standards of her father's species (seven and a half months as opposed to the seven month gestation period for Marciannah's species). However, she was born on time for someone of Marci's race.
-She spends a lot of her time reading, mostly language and history books made for children.
-Despite her disability, Archné is actually fairly intelligent for someone her age and has a much wider vocabulary than most six-year-olds.
-She is trying to learn how to play an instrument similar to a trumpet, but she lacks rhythm and is easily frustrated with her shortcomings. However, her persistence won't allow her to stop trying in her free time.
-Marciannah raised her to have respect for any Maelstronian (especially her biological father), as Marci wanted her to be a future diplomat and a "bridge" between her planet and Maelstronia.
-Marciannah has a philosophy of "I'm giving my daughter everything I never had growing up," and home schoolwork aside, allows Archné to essentially do whatever she wants. Kirian is always the one to say "No."
-Although the person who raised Archné as her father and Marciannah's husband is a toad-like man named Kirian Irkanus (visual pending someday), the surrogate and biological father is a man named Ringou Courell.

About Archné's Disability:
Archné has a developmental disability similar to Asperger Syndrome. She exhibits a range of symptoms including:
-Her social skills are impaired and she has a limited sense of empathy (mainly her reluctance to make eye contact with people and being unintentionally rude without realizing why her behavior wasn't acceptable).
-Her vocabulary and vocal tone seem slightly mechanical.
-"Stimming" (mainly pacing back and forth and twirling her hair in her fingers).
-She is especially sensitive to certain stimuli such has having her ears and tail touched and hearing a certain range of noises.
-Archné tends to obsessively fixate on things that interest her, especially flowers. She's obsessed with them to the point that she can talk for long periods about them; rattling off facts about them non-stop, and every dress she owns has floral print on them.
-She follows a very specific routine and does everything about it in a particular way. If something were to throw her routine off, she tends to become inconsolably upset until things are resolved. (I.E. she has a meltdown.)
-As mentioned above, she can also have a meltdown and become destructively angry by small things that bother her and her difficulty in explaining why she's upset.
