This is really very beautiful. I do so admire your many abilities to use your medium and tell a story through simple lines.

You did a wonderful job in creating a solemn mood with the dark heavy shrubbery in the foreground (and I must say, your strokes are beautiful. How did you get such wispy leafy and full looking effects?), and the background beign so open and white creates this vastness that leans to a sort of trapped in the moment and lost in the void feeling. The darkness and the void. Even the boar seems to be lost in between the two.

That boarded up house seems to be the only solid, clear thing in his reality, between the darkness and the void.

I can relate. I've been lost on both sides and even trapped in the middle, not lost on either side, but not quite in reality either. It's not nice, but sometimes the clarity of reality makes being lost seem like the lesser of evils.

I hope I understood the picture correctly, it seems liek there are so many ways it could be seen. It's very very nice nonwtheless.

I would love to see how you do it. I've used inke before but it intimidates me, although it does lend to beautiful results, adn I think your technique is growing very very strong.

Balances of llight & dark, objects & textures. And I agree with the others: very emotionally evocative. He's not facing that ruin, but he doesn't have to: he's thinking very hard about what it implies...

You have a way with your inks...The nuetral is purposely left out incontrast to the bold black and white - and it does, as the rest imply, invoke a rather strong emotional touch.
