While leaving work today in Payson AZ, I noticed 5 Cow Elk feeding from some bushes next to my Hamster Mobile / Kia Soul. 4 of them were already up to the sidewalk or street by the time I had my phone out. 1 of them was checking out her reflection in the auto glass and afforded me a good photo op. On the way to work this morning I had to dodge 4 elk on the road to Payson and one Mule Deer in my neighborhood - must have been my day for Cervines.

Hehe if Santa used Elk/Wapiti instead of Reindeer. Town of Payson AZ has a lot of Elk hanging around. Its in the middle of the Tonto National Forest and the locals enjoy having the elk around. Those were some of the female Elk, you should see the size of the bull Elk.. They hit up to 1000 pounds. Will be dropping their antlers soon - the rut is over

You are most welcome. My roomie back in July got a good photo of those big boys in the parking lot of a motel there in Payson. He went out to his truck to get something, turned around and was damn near face to face with Big Ben. bit disconcerting when you are suddenly faced with something the size of a horse with antlers.
"Hate" might be too strong a word.. I just find mine to be lackluster. I'd love a Fiat 500 Abarth, seeing as how it'd be so much smaller and still have basically the same engine and turbocharged. It's a peppy li'l beast. The one I had, though was a 2012 500 Sport, so it was still with just the 1.4L Multiair, and a hilarious 101hp that still gave it some zip. The small size didn't bother me, since I basically never had more than one other person in the car (as the 500's back seat is laughable).
