Silence drowns the sound
Before I leaped I should’ve seen
The view from halfway down

Some Bojack fanart I drew back in March. Catching up with my upload queue!

This episode struck me really hard. The crushing feeling of dread and remorse it evoked just OOF. Hit me really hard with things I was feeling at the time it aired. Amazing show, one of my favorites of all time for sure.

Such amazing work, love the way you drew him! I actually just finished watching Bojack for the first time a couple days ago, such a great show! Was surprised to see how dark it got throughout the series!

Thank you! I don't tend to draw a lot of horses so I'm glad I pulled it off. And yea- it really does get dark and pulls no punches exploring some very difficult subjects in a very unique way that I think it pulled off perfectly

ahh this is definitely one of my favorite episodes!! and I think this piece is absolutely stunning, you encapsulated this scene perfectly! I love the watercolor texture, the shocked look on his face and the telephone wrapped around his neck.

UHHHH It's a lot- tbh you can probably find youtube summaries n such, it's one of the last eps from the final season and called "the view from halfway down"

One of the best episodes from the series. The whole show was very thought provoking, but this one had a sense of finality. I agree with my husbear that this episode would have been a perfect end to the series.

I think it was the sudden flip into a surreal, supernatural environment that unnerved me the most about this episode. How amazing would it be if the team that made this show did a fantasy/sci-fi series?

When Secretariat read that poem, it really hit me hard since it reminded me of when I tried to kill myself
