Since apparently FA still can't do anything but text, poem below
I can't see the stars here,
Obscured by the city lights-
For the first time in my life
There are no glowing,
Twinkling,
Fireflies above;
Just the dull glow of the city
Upon the clouds
No simple, still,
Silence-
Broken by cicadas and frogs;
Instead the night tainted by
Car horns and alarms
I cannot see the stars here.
I cannot hear the forest,
For there is none.
There are none.
Only the dull groan
Of an aching city
Mimicking that within my bones-
Which yearn for something
Simpler,
Quieter.
Of things forgotten,
and things lost.
I can't see the stars here,
Obscured by the city lights-
For the first time in my life
There are no glowing,
Twinkling,
Fireflies above;
Just the dull glow of the city
Upon the clouds
No simple, still,
Silence-
Broken by cicadas and frogs;
Instead the night tainted by
Car horns and alarms
I cannot see the stars here.
I cannot hear the forest,
For there is none.
There are none.
Only the dull groan
Of an aching city
Mimicking that within my bones-
Which yearn for something
Simpler,
Quieter.
Of things forgotten,
and things lost.
