'You don't have to take the healing, but you'll bleed out if you don't. A waste of a perfectly good life because you won't let a gnoll help you.'
So, me and
thronezwei came up with the concept of a pair of gnolls who worked for a proper temple/church in an RPG - a paladin and a cleric respectively. We haven't gone much further than that, but this is the first time I've started work on a character before a game started... and honestly it's kinda fun. I can see how it's addictive.
So say hello to Culapius Aburius - Grave Cleric and someone who protects life. Done by the amazing
thelivingshadow - they do some great fantasy work, and you should check them out! :D

You might be interested in the homebrew universe my friends and I have been creating. In that world, gnolls are still linked to Yheenogu, but they aren't evil by default. Regardless, they are still frequently distrusted and discriminated against for being created by a demon lord, and for being "Tarks", one of the three races descended from Tarkan'Nala, the Mother of Monsters. However, it's HEAVILY recommended against calling one of them a Tark to their face - it would be like walking into a bar patronized by people of color and throwing out the n-word.
