These massive alien creatures stand at a range of 14"0'ā20"0' tall. Their insides and skin are bioluminescent, creating a glow and sort of lantern/flashlight effect with light shining through their eyes and jowls when mouth is ajar. All luxaltor have extremely long tongues, which coil when relaxed in the mouth. This helps with hunting and gathering, as some luxaltor hunt above ground and below. This feature is helpful in their endeavors, as they are the known protectors of earth, sea, and sky.
There are three tiers of luxaltor; ⢠air type
⢠sea type
⢠ground type
All having traits that cater to their specifications and environment.
⢠The air type of luxaltor are skilled fliers, having two sets of wings ( frontal; on the cranial region , rear; on the rump ) this subtype is especially dutiful, being able to monitor both ground and sky-level perimeters. They prey on waterfowl, bats, insects, and bird species.
⢠The ground type luxaltor has long forepaws like a jackrabbit, for scaling trees and making large leaps and bounds across crevices or caverns. They are incredible climbers, and typically patrol the forest floor and trees during the night. They feast on fruits and small mammals.
⢠The sea type luxaltor are consummate swimmers, having webbed paw-pads that can stretch to their desired swimming speed of acceleration. They have antennae and gills located in many spots on their bodies, and have multiple lungs, so they can survive for long periods underwater. They prey on fish and anemone, as well as krill. they are able to swim Challenger Deep in the ocean.
Tooth, ear, and claw length are all traits variable in rarity for each luxaltor. however, there are different traits for each subtype, which also vary in rarity. ( i.e. wing size, antennae length, or fins. )
