Yup. I wrote in meter. 8D I'm proud of myself. To tell the truth, the only reason I haven't done meter yet was because I didn't know of pentameter ect. Only Iambic meter, which will always terrify me.
it SAYS it's a sonnet, and it has specific meter and 14 lines, but...
It doesn't rhyme. It didn't want to rhyme. Meh.


The Muse's Sonnet

The Muse whispers into
My ear, singing softly.
Sweetly. A symphony.
This is what you will write,
She says, bringing a thought
Into my mind like a
Whisper, a quiet sigh.
I hunch over my desk
As pulp covers pine, and
Streaks of dark ‘cross clouded
Canvas, and a poem
Takes root, seeding tendrils
Onto pages, bringing
Life to desolate land.
