Once a week, Varas comes and visit his father in his small home, he lives with a few male nevreans and are all supporters of a strange group who are against wearing clothes in public. Announcing his presence, his father called him into the kitchen as he made breakfast.



Varas sat down at the table, doing his usual routine of asking how was his week and if anything new in his life happened. While asking how his day was, his father interrupted him asking where was his bandana, which made Varas frowned.



''Varas'' I forgot my bandana dad, I had a rough week so i apologize if i forgot to put the damn thing on my head before coming in.


''Zal'' Well please cover it, you know i hate seeing that long feather on your head.


''Varas'' cover it with what? I told you i forgot the damn thing.



''Zal'' use your hand then, or your pants i don't know.



''Varas'' you know what, no! Im tired of being asked to hide it from you, i want the truth now dad, why do you really hate my head feather this much!?


''Zal'' It reminds me of her, you know, your mother. She has the same long feather on her head, she also had the black of your eyes, plus the glowing gold colors that brings terrible curse to all.


''Varas'' oh please, don,t believe this stupid crap about the glowing eyes too. It's all nonesense!


''Zal'' I would agree too but..... well...



''Varas'' But?


''Zal'' cover your feather please.



''Varas'' oh for!! ... . fine there, happy? Continue the story.



''Zal'' Well your mom was crazy, at first she looked like a shy but protective female. Then i would visit my friends and she would get extremely jealous. To the point she killed anyone who did a joke about me, or if they were female talking to me. Then when i tried to end our relationship she locked me in the basement and forced me to mate so she could give birth to children.





As Zal told the story, a roommate came in and sat at the counter, eating some of the food Zal made, Varas stared at him.




''Varas'' Excuse me, could you let us alone, we are having a personal discussion.


''roommate'' Wha!? B-but i live me!



''Zal'' It's fine Varas, also cover your head again, thank you. Well i managed to escape the basement and called up guards to arrest her, they took her away and gave her a fate worst than death. When she laid her eggs, they gave them to me, I tried to become a dad. When you both hatched and grew old enough to open your eyes.... One of you had her eyes, i couldn't raise someone with her eyes so i got rid of it.




''roommate'' Haha yeah I remember! We knocked on doors and ditched him, until someone picked him up.




''Varas'' You think this is funny!? Get the fuck out of here! You are lucky im not a violent person, because i would have thrown my coffee at you.



''roommate'' Wha!? But i live here!!




''zal'' But yeah, pretty much the story. I don't like being reminded of her, well at least i took care of you right?



''Varas'' Barely, you hired someone else to keep an eye so you could party with these idiots. The only reason i still visit you is because i hope to one day bring the family back togheter, be happy like a damn family should. Oh and I've met my brother, he's a good person even though he's stubborn and does a suicidal job. You should meet him dad, he will prove to you that not all glowing eyes are horrible people.




''Roommate'' haha! that's funny.



''Zal'' i..... i don't want to meet him, i visit your mom from time to time, and her eyes still send shivers down my spine.



''Varas'' Well tough luck dad, because i promise you, i will make you accept him as your son just you wait! Next time i come here, make sure this moron don't sit with us.



''roommate'' Wha!? but i live here!






Varas left furious, his dad kept eating like nothing happened. Sometimes Varas ask himself, how he would have ended up like if he was the one being cast out, or if his dad decided to raise him by himself.
