Night Runners are the 'bottom' of Eshin's military. Well, not as low as slaves but still. Regardless of their relative low standing in Eshin, Night Runners are still very lethal and carry a deadly arsenal in their bag of tricks. Neeve though...is aptly named as 'Gutstabber'. Rather than being a classic 'stab in the back' sort of assassin, Neeve is a more up-front sort of rat, preferring to disembowel his victims and look at the reaction on their faces. Though he certainly has a high body count when it comes to his kills, his overall recklessness certainly denies him any chance of being promoted to Gutter Runner. To Neeve, it shouldn't matter. So long as the target is dead, then it's a success right? Regardless of how many others die in the process. Such recklessness that he exhibits puts him unaffiliated with Krashak, as the seer has no use for such a 'poor assassin'. Hir'eka though has a special work 'relationship' with Neeve. What that entails however, is for her and her only to know. Never for the seer.
