So this is a gift for someone in my furry discord group (shameless plug for RAWR, the best artist community on the web), for our holiday gift exchange. The idea is that each of us would create a hand-crafted piece of art that would reflect the personality of the recipient. My recipient happens to be a vary warm, very kind person, who carries a magic blanket around with her.

I chose to do variations on a theme, trying to capture that warm, cozy feeling you have when you reach the height of comfort inside a warm blanket. There are four distinct sections: Toasty Warm, Falling Asleep, Pleasant Dreams, and Waking Up. Instrumentation includes the Oboe, English Horn, Bassoon, and Contrabass Bassoon.
