Third update: LOOK AT THOSE TREADS!
Second update: added the last few things I found missing from the side view. Tried to get the best angle for the camera too so it isn't skewed too bad.
Now to paint all three references.
Figured out what I wanted to mix together for the front end. So tell me:
What do you see?
I know what I mixed together but I'm wondering if any of you know which trucks I used for this new thick boy.
What color should he be?

I'm still mish moshing the ideas up. The hood I still need to work on because a couple of beauty lines aren't matching up properly on the side view. But I ran out of time yesterday and had to sleep at some point before work. So I had to pause in the middle of my three page side view.
The hardest thing to do is keeping the correct length for each style of cab. Single cab, crew cab, big crew cab, extended crew cab. I honestly think I am making it too small or too big for each size. This one though is definitely for kids in the back seat in it for the grocery stop.
But I'll reveal the 2 trucks I chose for this later. I just hope it all comes together.
Small hints on the second truck: it's not a dually. It has orange highlights, and it's not american...

Toyota Tundra? I’m not too sure about foreign trucks. But from the tundras the headlights don’t look too similar, if that’s what ur referring to, I guess the titan fits a lil more tho. But there has definitely got to be some ford raptor in there the headlights and taillights match up pretty darn well. I just noticed u changed the taillights as well, more Ford lookin.
I think the hood looks great so far, gives the truck that big beefy look, like hey, I got something fuckin mean under this hood, HD lookin for sure. An I am sorta interested, is it gonna have Ford(if I guessed right) under the hood? Or some other engine from the other mystery truck? And what cab are u going with?
I do love your creativity in your character, not many people do their own custom vehicles, this one’s definitely a head turner. Just get ur final concept done some day so I can draw this beauty for you :D

I wish I had so much more time to just draw and paint. I just got off work and back to the graph paper but have to go back for my 6th fucking covid test this year. Had another person test positive so everyone has to go through the wringer.
I think I have a real thick stumper here. The hood is definitely ford. Especially the headlights. I'm following the more recent ford trucks for the engine. But the bottom... I do see the strong resemblance to the raptor.
And you know; maybe they did copy the raptor a little bit with this one.
However those tail lights, when I finally fucking adjust those beauty lines, will surprise you.
