As Lucia pulled as hard as she could, she managed to slowly but surely begin to pull Aurora to the side and out of the quicksand, slowly but surely Aurora managed to climb out of the quicksand. After recovering for a little bit she got up, stretching her arms a bit before looking down at her now mud dripping body.
"Looks like I'll be needing a quick shower before getting back to work. But thanks for rescuing me, I owe you one."
'Oh don't worry, just get me a bag of blueberries and we'll call it even.'
And here it is, the grand finally of the Aurora quicksand series, a fun small series to do, and while I'm sure I'll draw her again sometime, I guess for now giving her a bit of a break would be useful.

And a successful rescue by Lucia, they both look quite happy to be out of the quicksand, especially Aurora. Once again, the sand coating really looks great, those little spots where what is beneath shows through is always a nice touch. Cute writeup, I think Lucia has definitely earned a whole bunch of blueberries for this rescue. ;)
