That is correct. In the story "Burning Stone," Human forces were vastly outnumbered by the technically infereior, Wolf like, Lycalli and thus they used nasty things like robot tanks and remote snipers.

Is it available online? I recognised the design from your past drawings. (Spider something or other.) And wondered if there was some kind of ryme or reason behind it.

I wrote my original comic script for "Burning Stone" waaaay back in 1988, shortly after I discovered "Furry" fandom. The story is about a small force of technically superior humans against a very large occupational force of the wolf like lycalli. The humans called the planey "Bermestien" after it's discoverer. The Lycalli who had trouble pronouncing some human words started calling the planet "Burning Stone." The book looks like an interesting read though.

Sounds reminiscent of the Human-Melconian war in the Bolo chronology.

I'm a BIG fan of Kieth Laumer's original Bolo stories.

Those two obviously never saw the first Terminator movie. Blowing the tread off any big war machine will cause the whole thing to instantly burst into flames. XD

True, true, but blowing a tread off will also limit the mobility of the tank to spin in circles. I like your observation though.

Heh, it vaugely reminds me of one of the Bolo stories by Keith Laumer. If they're anything like that blowing off the sensor won't just make it mad, it'll simply backplot the fire and empty a magazine into the spot those two are at.

Thanks Wakboth. Whenever I draw ruins or any landscape that used to be buildings, I try to "Think out" what caused the damage and how it might affect the scene when things settled down. Adding the steel frame which suggests a clutching hand also adds a bit more "Drama" to the image.
