Stepping back once more into Fairy Tale Parade #2. Here's the story of Snow White and Rose Red, which I'm sure you all join me in vaguely remembering existed, you guess. In this moment from the story White and Red have invited into their cabin a poor traveller, one caught in a severe snowstorm. The traveller appears to be a bear, albeit a personable one who ends up spending a pleasant winter with them. You can see the original at https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=20646 page 13. Does the mysterious talking bear turn out to be, oh, just blue-skying here, secretly a prince under an enchantment in need of a good-spirited peasant girl? You'll have to read the story to know. Comic Book Plus doesn't have credits so I can't say whether this is Walt Kelly but the dialogue sure reads like Walt Kelly putting his touch on the story to me.
