Kessara suggested an extinct horse variant. This is Eohippus - he's about twenty centimeters tall at the shoulder as a non-anthro, and his feet haven't yet become hooves. The one here is making himself a spear blade by knapping flint.

And as if the subject matter weren't awesome enough all on it's own, your amazing pencil skills are just...well...amazing. O.O His hind legs and feet are my favourite...excellent anatomy, showing off their really slender legs without making them look like toothpicks.
