So glad this finished up nicely! I'm really happy with how it came out!! And Bryn needed an update in the universe.
Brynjar Svínløvung, formerly the stalwart Jarl and Prince of Mystgard has taken up his father's throne in his later years (20-25), and with that has taken quite a few scars and beatings as well. He has embraced the more rugged and changing customs of the land around him, and him and his people have changed dramatically from their relatives in the homeland. Now with a more stoic and damaged visage, his personality has changed suitingly, less trusting and more powerful than his younger self, now a true Machiavellian-Raider!
In addition to a new personality, I've finally decided to implement simple magic. runes, and birthskills to the world that Brynjar inhabits. Brynjar being personally born with a restorative skill- his paws glow into a deep purple aura, channeling his personal life force straight from his blood in order to heal those of his desire. That being said- it obviously cannot be used on his own blood, as he cannot simply 'produce more energy' for him to heal himself with. Likewise, it doesn't allow him to heal anyone that shares his blood...
To boot, Brynjar's gear has been updated and upgraded to be more historically accurate, including a new blade modelled after the 'Ulfberht' series of blades that are widespread during the medieval Viking Age with a small piece of Amber- the same thats in his crown, along with a royal tunic that is more fitting of a Scandinavian culture, as well as including an Anglo-Saxon/Norse armor set that I found very impressive. His shield is also more accurate now, having a carrying band, one minor central boss, and a single handle in the center as is more fitting to a Scandinavian style. In addition, I have completely redesigned and remade his banner, his original tricolor being rather anachronistic.
I'm extremely happy with this redesign and think it'll work very well for future serious commissions regarding his storyline.
