Oh yes, those little things. I'm not all that fond of them. Especially one time when I went to this wonderful Argentinian restaurant and ordered one of my favorite meat and vegetable pies. I was almost finished eating when I found one of these little guys inside my pie. I figure the poor little bugger flew in while it was being made unnoticed. The owner was so embarrassed he gave me my meal for free. lol
When I was a kid, and didn't have a care in the world, I used to go out into the dark and challenge my eyesight by hitting these things with a tennis racket ... into the hollow aluminum silo-top dome of our backyard observatory. *swish* *tunk* ... *KTANG!*
I've never seen THIS many, in one spot, on the ground .. not flying around randomly with the dexterity of an alcoholic on a bad day.

Are these the big ones about an inch or so long that make really noisy chopper sounds when they fly? Cause if the are... FTW! I used to catch them when I was livin in Central Oregon... then on the construction site I would wait till one of my buds walked by below me and toss the bug at him... they drop about 8 or 10 feet while they deploy flight gear then they hit the huge chopper sound about ear level for the co-worker... It will definitely make you leap! X3
