Last photo for now...

Somewhere in east Colorado is this... Those windmill things are SO HUGE. I love how they look here, and was glad this came out the way it did. The vehicles on the road shows just how HUGE those are.

This photo was taken on the way home from a huge trip visiting my family.

They are particularly large but they are good at what they do. Now that I think about it perhaps they do have some untapped artistic potential as well.

I've heard of some farmers creating VAWTs.

Very easy to build too Link and Link Or even This sadly how ever they are still in the "garage" level of the industry but looks promising.

Yep, they are quite inefficient. Takes tons of them to equal one coal or nuclear power plant.

not to mention the "Head" alone is 2 stories tall. think of well all the coal and nuclear energy that went tin making them.

I can see that, and that's fine. I'm open to new ideas that do in fact work, but it sounds like a lot of bitching to me. This photo is only about showing the view I saw, not how effective it is, hence the title.
