During his early life as a adult, he was encountered by a spirit name Althalos, a deceased deer kosmisuro warrior who was a kosmisuro champion, Althalos promised leon a chance to prevent another death of one of his friends. Leon agrees to this and Althalos gived leon new powers that Althalos once had when he was alive.

Althalos also trained leon how to use these powers as well, leon is the only one that can see Althalos. No one else can, so it may look like leon is training himself from others point of view, but in his point of view Althalos is right next to him.
