spent the weekend taking care of a six week old baby. Man, babies sure are angry.

oh man Val has this cry she uses when she wants something and we take too long to figure it out. It goes from a normal baby cry to some demon banshee thing.

I swear, you have the most awesome baby EVER.

You should do a sequel with the torrential keening that's about 2 seconds from emanating out of the little fox cub. :)

I was like that as a baby, or so my mum tells me. I used to hit my brother with my fire truck because I just wanted to play alone. XD

Well, I know that's how I show affection...

Probably because most babyfurs don't have contact with real babies.

Seriously. Cooperative play doesn't usually start until 3-4 years old. All my daughter usually does when she sees another baby is stare for awhile, and then turn to look at something else. :)

Ooh, ooh! The next step is reaching out and pummeling faces! They're just curious and don't know any better... but it can be hilarious.

Annie just got into real temper tantrums and I have to try SO HARD not to laugh my butt off. She gets this squinty angry face and tosses her whole body backward (and almost off of things, you need quick reflexes as a parent!) and kicks her chubby little legs. I'm giggling thinking about it.

Should totally do a series of baby furs bashing each other like real selfish/angry babies. (again, not like they get the concept of being polite, so I just find it funny)

OMG, does she do THE LIP? Val shoves her lower lip out as far as it will go. She stops crying to make sure you're watching her pout, and then takes another breath and BAWWW. XD
