Here we are once again. Please let me present you this adorable creature who I decided to call "Goldigony". If you're wondering why I choose this name, well, it is a pretty curious and silly story, but basically it is because I wanted something pretty, well... different and somehow original and I'm not really good with names :/
Goldigony is a cute dragon OC that I decided to create because I want to participate in the 2021 Derpibooru's community collab and well, I realized that I didn't have in reality an OC to participate. Well, somehow I do, but I wanted to participate with something really cute, well prepared and well thought, and my favorite characters of all in MLP (apart the adorable Sweetie Belle of course and maybe a couple of other ponies) are the dragons. Spike, Ember, Smolder, even Garble, all of them are really amazing characters for me, especially in their design. Honestly, cartoon dragons overall have been my favorite creatures.
So I wanted to follow that line and create my own young dragon OC to participate seriously in this collab, challenging myself somehow to do something different, special and cute. And of course, probably having the chance to use her in future drawings or stories. It may sound really silly (or even stupid), but... It really means a lot to me being able to participate in one of those big group photos that they yearly do.
How I made the design is a really long and probably pretty random story, but well, I was basically looking for doing that amazingly cute MLP dragon and this was the best that I felt able to do, after trying to focus in my favorite features of each MLP dragon, and I can't lie, I really, love the final result!
So, what do you think? Isn't Goldigony cute, soft, adorable, happy, huggable? Because for me she really is nwn

She sounds absolutely adorable! Perhaps Goldigony would be one of the first young dragons to actively be a part of Princess Ember, Spike, and Smolder's efforts to show dragons can be kind, caring, and non-violent?
Spike was always this way, but he seemed to not get as much respect from Twilight until we got to see the episode entitled "Sparkle 7".
Smolder was definitely on the right track as she grew through 'The School Of Friendship'. She really showed how dragons do not need to live up to stereotypes in "2, 4, 6, 8, Great'. (Both Season 9 and I will say no more than how these eps help support my feelings on Goldigony)
Ember was always on a path to being a better dragon than what dragon society wanted her to be. She stood up to her father on what made her a strong candidate for 'The Gauntlet Of Fire' and participated despite being told not to. She also did give Spike the benefit of the doubt where Garble dismissed him in traditional dragon style.
Ember showed that caring and friendship did not equal weakness. She showed how it gave strength and, as a result, we have Smolder to start learning, from a younger age, what Ember had, unknowingly, wanted to start with the dragons.
The above said, Goldigony, to me, is hatched during the episode of 'Sweet And Smoky', which is Season 9, and, thanks to her hatching during this episode, she is the first dragon to be identified as starting the future generations of dragons who care and share over greed and selfishness.
Great job!
