I got lucky and it was the right antidepressant to help me. I'm also lucky that I haven't missed enough doses to go through the withdrawal, but that's something I hope I never have to experience. I hope it's not something you ever have to deal with very often in your future either. <3
I'm just forgetful but usually catch it before it gets too bad. Aside from the dizziness, palpitations and total emotional instability, the worst part is the sickening "electrical pulses" that you feel throughout your whole nervous system. I'm glad you have yet to experience it. The first time is the scariest so if it ever comes to it I hope you have someone to support and comfort you.
For real, I can only imagine that, so my heart goes out to you for having been through it. I think the biggest thing that's helped me not forget is one of those daily pill containers for the week. I still forget sometimes, but it's like twice a year instead of once a week, or wondering if I took my pills so I don't just in case I'd OD - all that wonderful mental stuff that comes with trying to remember too much at once.
It's not pretty but I guess I'm used to it by now so no worries.
Oh great idea! A daily pill container sure would help in those frequent cases where you can't recall if you took it or not [I used to have one long ago, don't know what happened]. Sometimes I also think of having a few with me at all times in a tiny carrier but via a necklace or something lol [maybe just as an emergency supply at least].
